A friend called this morning and said a Red Cross staff called her to get my “new" phone number.
I called that Red Cross staff bck and it turned out to be a staff from bone marrow donation database. She told me that four of the white blood cell numbers matched with one patient and so a second screening test is needed… though the matching rate is very low – like winning mark six.
It so happened that my dad came back for lunch today and we were having lunch at Shatin New Town Plaza and the Shatin blood donation centre is right next to it. 6cc of blood is all that us needed for the second test but that needle… seems the vacuum needle hurts more. And I’ve got thin blood vessel…
